Located just outside of Bengaluru, the 2GW factory, expandable to 4GW, will produce hyper modular PEM electrolyzers to meet the growing demand for green hydrogen from customers in India and around the world.

The Gigafactory will supply green hydrogen solutions to our customers across the globe, including current projects in the United States, Europe, and the United Arab Emirates.

In its continuing effort to expand into emerging climate technologies, 3M (NYSE: MMM) has completed a strategic investment in Ohmium International, a developer of electrolyzer systems for green hydrogen production.

Led by IVICOM and supported by INA and the Croatian government, the project will help decarbonize INA’s Rijeka Refinery and advance Croatia’s Net Zero goals

The 5.4 MW pilot project will pair Ohmium PEM electrolyzers with HYGRO wind turbines for hydrogen production, storage and distribution, with opportunities for further expansion.
